Idiot!!!

I am such a complete air head sometimes. I have no idea what was going through my brain yesterday afternoon. Maybe I was in a rush to leave. Anyways. I spent three hours yesterday doing this reaction and the last and final step was to place the e.coli I had just created on an agar plate and then put it in the incubator. Today when I went to get the plates from the incubator they were no where to be found. Ding Ding Ding. I never put them in the incubator!! Ahh to my idiotic frustration I found them on the bench top where I had left them yesterday. Now I have to redo the entire reaction and make more agar plates and hope not to have another mess in the microwave.
